Professor Robert Carlisle of Oxford University and part of the UK Covid-19 vaccine team, has authored this book to help parents remind their child of the importance of regular hand washing and other behaviours that can minimise the spreading of germs.

The book also contains Practical Tips for Parents/Caregivers.

Meet the Author

Dr Robert Carlisle is an Associate Professor in the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME) at the University of Oxford. After completing a BSc in Biochemistry, an MSc in Toxicology and a PhD in Gene Delivery at Birmingham University, he worked for 8 years within the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and the Department of Oncology at the University of Oxford before joining the IBME in 2012. He has spent his career working out how to combat a range of infectious and non-infectious disease and how certain micro-organisms may even be used in this fight. He is the father of three happy, healthy children.
